Kubrick is the classic WordPress Theme that has been included in every WordPress release since version 1.5 and is now more commonly known as the Default theme that comes with WordPress.

Recently on the Thesis Support Forums, a fellow member requested a Kubrick to Thesis port and being a former Kubrick user myself, I was happy to oblige and create a free Kubrick Skin for Thesis just for the fun of it.

If you still like the simple and clean look of Kubrick but want to take advantage of all the behind the scenes features that Thesis provides, this skin might be what you’re looking for. Below you’ll find a screenshot of the skin and installation instructions. Installation Instructions

• Create a backup copy of your custom.css and custom_functions.php files if you have customizations that you don’t want to lose.
• Download the skin files which consist of the two custom files and four images.
• Upload the custom files to the custom folder in the Thesis Theme and the four images inside the custom/images folder.
• In the Thesis Design Options Panel, change the following settings:
1. Two Column Layout with the content on the left and the sidebar on the right
2. Content column width of 500px Sidebar column width of 200px
3. HTML Framework set to Page Framework
4. Outerpage padding set to 0 (zero)
• Save your changes and you’ll be ready to go.

Greg Rickaby, a Double Mule Certified Thesis Designer, has just released The Times, a premium Skin for Thesis that comes with a ton of features and lifetime support.
